Working out with a purpose!
Today was the first day of my half-marathon training! It was very motivating to have a purpose for my work out! I signed up for my half-marathon which happens in 20 weeks!!! I am going to be in as good of shape as I possibly can by then, even if I’m still walking a lot. I think I’m going to be using Jeff Galloway’s training program. I have a lot of weight to lose along the way so after my run/walk routine for 30 minutes I walked for another hour. I don’t really know what to expect as far as weight loss results go. I just want that to be a biproduct of my new lifestyle! So I’m just going to focus on getting in better physical condition, being able to walk less and run more, and see what happens!

I WILL do a half-marathon in November!
How many times can I possibly say I’m going to do something before I actually do it??? It’s like when your mom asked you to clean your and you say “I will, I will.” Of course you were gonna get to it eventually right? How many times have I told myself “tomorrow I will get in shape…” “tomorrow I will start running…” What’s the problem? It’s not gonna be any easier tomorrow!!! So I’m done putting it off. TODAY I will start training for the half-marathon! TODAY I will start my journey of life long fitness! TODAY I am fueling my body with what it needs slim down, shape up, and get to the FINISH LINE!
